I Never Travel Without My… BlackBerry

John Milner
Senior Sales
Executive

I’m completely obsessed with my BlackBerry. It’s not just me. Barack Obama, along with other high-profile people, has confessed an addiction to this wireless handheld device. Once you get started, you’re never far away from email and the internet. I travel a lot for my work, and if it weren’t for my BlackBerry I’d have missed out on countless business opportunities. People think I’m obsessive because I check my BlackBerry while watching TV, eating dinner or when I’m on holiday, but it’s important. The thought of missing email fills me with fear.

01 Intelligent Design

Italian fashion label Prada and electronics group LG are the odd couple behind this super-sleek phone. It has a large touch-sensitive screen, an FM radio and a two-megapixel camera. If you always lose your phone in your handbag, try the Prada Link, a Bluetooth wristwatch that lets you preview text messages. www.pradaphonebylg.com

02 Warrior Games

These national stereotypes are residents of Ninjatown, which was a peaceful place until it was invaded by the horrible, yet still rather cuddly, Mister Demon. And it’s your job as a Nintendo DS player to fight him off. www.ninjatown.com

03 Love Letters

New York designer Jason Solarek has produced a range of T-shirts with acronymic flair. Dubai is already available, but he’ll custom make T-shirts for your favourite city, country – or even airline. We’ll take the following please: journeys, affable, zippy, economical, efficient, reliable, affordable… www.solarek.com

04 Trusting Tusting

These hand-crafted Encounter travel bags – available in green, orange and red – ooze tradition and quality. They’re made by Tusting, an English company which has been manufacturing leather goods in their Buckinghamshire factory since 1876, so it’s fair to say they know what they’re doing. www.tusting.co.uk
